Edward Jones offers many sophisticated investments and services. However, we don't try to serve all investors, and we're not short-term traders who try to time the market. In alignment with our long-term investment philosophy, we avoid highly leveraged investments and trends, such as commodities, penny stocks, futures and some mortgage-backed securities. Instead, we emphasize buying quality investments, diversifying them and holding them for the long term while helping to reduce risk - rather than trying to drive short term profit. Our job is to provide time-tested investment advice that serves our clients well over the years. And we believe this philosophy aligns with our clients needs.
